Mar 01 2008 00:38:49 Bug Reports #1
PsyckoSama

Okay everyone, if you see a bug or have a nit pick as to elements of the new format, please put them here so Fearless Leader can read them and be badgered into fixing them.

I'll start.

Warringer, you really need to center these damned post windows. Hacing them glued to the left side of the window is rather awkward.

I'll also add you need some form of double post protection... maybe make it so you can only post once every 20 seconds?

Here's my nitpick, that side window in the new layout with the Recent Episodes, Reviews and Entries and stuff needs to be collapsible or adjustable somehow. Its really annoying to have it take up a third of the screen. Also, I'd like an option to have the other colorscheme back. I tried the change style link and classic didnt quite match.

Those are my nitpicks :)

For me the 'damned post windows' are centered. That is if you are talking about the reply window that'll pop up when you reply to a thread... :p

At least the sidebar entries are not collapable. I'm going to add a possibility to save the state in cookies later on.

Layout is a 'maybe, through quite possibly not'.

Ain't for me and if I don't maximize window it it takes off half the damned response window.

Personally, I think its a mistake to use so many of these funky popup windows...

Everyone's a critic... *rolls eyes*

But I have removed the popups now. At least I think I got all of 'em... :p

The forum looks good. Big improvment I'd say. The comments system on the otherhand... well...

Do I have to wonder about the text in that image? :p

I've now added a doublepost protection by simply disabling the Submit button. :p

Okay, make that a 'more or less'.

I modified the 'Classic Style' to fill more of the screen. And I added a new Style 'Dark Contrast' for all those who prefer light text on black background.

Mar 05 2008 00:13:55 Problems with Posting #13
Red Priest of the 17th Order

I'm simply trying to post a new episode, and nothing happens when I hit the Preview Button.

What Browser (version) are you using? Does it notify you of any scripterrors? Can I get a screenshot?

EDIT:

Theoretically, the problem is solved. Psycko noted that it might have been IE and by removing some JavaScript and replacing it with a little AJAX, I hope I have solved the problem as it appears that you, Red Priest, can still use the Review feature and the Forum...

Login is really whacked out. When I enter my ID and password, I get a nonsensical popup, and it seems like login failed. I went to several other pages and the login boxes were still there. then I gave it another try and got the same popup, came to the forum, and suddenly the pane on the right shows me logged in.

Also, the text box for posting in forum or reviews is too wide in IE. It overlaps with the column on the right side of the screen

Note: I found both of these errors while using the Beta version.

I have added a 'loder' into the code, so that you know when the Addventure is loading stuff from the background.

As for the textbox for the reviews. I whould guess that you are using IE? Than my tip would be to get yourself Firefox. :p

Through I am going to correct that little problem, I hope... :p

Ack! When  I wasn't ready to submit my idea for the Back Home - A New Homer transfer into the Star Trek universe, I aborted my attempt, and it's now locked out saying 'Under Construction'. Was that supposed to happen?

Warringer

It's being reset.

That give me the idea to enable the reseting to those who tried to create the episode in question. :p

EDIT:

And thus a new 'feature' is created. If you are misscreating an episode or abort its creation, you can now reset the episode in question. Through only if you were the one who tried to create it...

I found a bug, using the Alternate High Contrast mode of the Testadd, the buttons for page numbers are blued out as are the next buttons for when you are navigating from one page to the next one in episodes and whatnot.

Mar 10 2008 23:41:14 Another Bug? #20
JEKrug01

I think I found another bug. I wanted the system to display my nickname instead of my normal name, and I couldn't change it around so I could (the name/nicknames were grayed out)!

Also a suggestion: give people the option to display either real name or nickname in the edit profile.
